Im still in school but I am considering setting up an event horse breeding stud. Is this a good idea?
I have been round horses for 15 years and many have been broken in and taught my horse to the event, has to jump 3 feet 6
And that is the basis for the creation of a stallion exactly how? Finish school, go get a decent title, and when you have a truckload of money to burn, and then think about breeding. It is not an easy thing make money and needs, experience, and not only of having ridden a horse back to some competitions, and knowledge of both bloodlines and genetics and a thorough understanding of what the job market needs and desires. What a group of children who do not want to fill their containers of food or placing food at the plate. Only by being able to produce the highest caliber youngstock going to do that. I'm not mean … I used to have an advanced event stallion and know that 90% of what the products will not be international or national standard. Remember that "horse race wisest men mad shopping!"

If you see a race horse as a wonderful show and sporting event, then chances are you have a favorite speaker or two. A good "race caller" can add excitement to an already exciting event and also help those who can not actually see the event.
A bad announcer can also be harmful to the fun and excitement, but fortunately, some of them. A good sense of humor and perfect diction help easy to hear a speaker and an addendum welcome. One of my favorite was Marshall Cassidy, who called the races at the circuit in New York until he left office and working on other tasks at the track.
Tom Durkin, the man who replaced him, has a great sense of humor and does a good job calling the races. He is accurate and insightful and knows how to use a sentence of colors. But the speakers but not limited to the big time and the main tracks. You'll find at other sporting events and places less horse racing.
I once heard a line from a very funny speaker at a fair in Maine. I do not know if it was her own original line, or borrowed, but made the race more enjoyable (it was my horse that won, too). The horse on the front must have been at least 20 bodies in front, as it became the home straight. The person caller said, "Send out a search party for the rest of the field."
That struck me as very funny, but then again, it was my horse that was in front.
When I called to careers in another state, the state's delegates sometimes objected to my style. One day, while calling the race in fog, I lost sight of the runners who ran up the line. I quipped, "And now it's something nobody knows."
The monitors were outraged and told me not to be so frivolous. But I think that employers enjoyed it, and that's the point. It's race attendees who pay the bills and deserve the best show and day management can give them. Exactly race calls with a touch of humor can enhance the experience. I have not received any complaints from the crowd or my boss, only administrators.
Are there any funny lines you've heard a racetrack announcer use or have a memorable experience of a speaker? Everything is only part of the panoply of races horses, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest spectacle on earth.
The most consistent horse racing systems have to have the basics and a handicapper must understand the basics. I have been around horse racing for 50 years including as an owner.
